Ha ha ha! Freaky.
It gets freakier. Recently the same groundhog, or another one fell out of a tree while the Spouse was sitting on the screen porch. He heard it go "flup" and then the cartoon-like "whabbah-whabbah-whabbah" as it shook its little head before walking off.
So, we either have a recidivist tree-climbing ground hog, or we've got a number of 'em willing to try it at least once.
Which is weirder?
Gotta love those groundhogs.
I didn't even know they could climb trees. How strange.

Ya know, groundhogs do sort of look like Rove. Could be he's been secretly amassing an army, and you found a paratrooper.
