I am a latecomer to Stevenson, despite having him on my list to read. Too many books on the list, not enough interest in reading really. But I received a copy from the publisher and I am delighted. A fair play mystery in the time-honored tradition of Christmas specials! And in the form of an Advent calendar! I'm stoked. And I am not reading past the front matter and prolonged today: I am actually going to read it as intended. Well, probably, because life. But I will try very hard to stick to the schedule. I am excited and delighted all out of proportion, which is itself a delightful surprise. Let me know if you're also playing along.
