Pikachu Octopus

Yeah, I had to post this, because I keep telling people about it, and it takes me forever to find it. I thought maybe if I stored it safely in my blog, I'd be able to find it again. Pharyngula had this up in July. That makes me a very slow blogger, I guess.

It's pure Cute Overload, isn't it?

Enjoy, Liam, this cute is for you; the Science Blogs' Pokemon is for you, Colin.

I knew the picture looked familiar ... it showed up on CuteOverload a while ago. http://mfrost.typepad.com/cute_overload/2007/06/dumbo_octopus_p.html

That little tongue-thing is pretty cute.

Darn. Logging in deleted my comment.

My Liam will be delighted with this picture Kaethe. He spent quite awhile last night explaining how each Pokemon corresponded to a RL animal/reptile/fish etc. He was struggling with Pikachu though. It looks like this particular struggle is over.

Well, good for him. Some of my favorite people are named Liam!

Sorry, about the commenting snafu.

Kind of reminds me of the water bear. Ever seen one?Not that they look alike, just mysterious cute water creatures.

When the address code includes the word "microscopy" it's got to be good. Cute little critter.
